End-of-Radio

Singer Katy Perry, came onto the Howard Stern Show this morning.  She performed her hit single “I Kissed a Girl” spoke about her rapper boyfriend getting introduced to her preacher father and how life is like on the road while being young with a hit song.  The pressure to release a followup is there but she assured Howard that if she was to only have on hit single in this world she would be happy with it.

Before leaving through the door though talk started about the size of her chest and why she would show up to the Howard Stern Show wearing a sweater.  After some brief talk, she took off her sweater and showed off her DD’s. *edit:(Just to clarify, Katy Perry did not go topless or show any skin, she just took off her sweater in which she was just wearing a more revealing shirt underneath. Once the sweater came off the crew believed Katy when she mentioned she had DD’s. See pic above)

Overall she was great guest, great voice and the crew loved having her in.

Howard Stern showed the crew his new “B” tattoo, and Artie said he loved the Old English script. Robin was surprised: “Hmm…It’s bigger than I thought it’d be.” Howard said he’d met up with Shanghai Kate, his tattoo artist, and she insisted that he go bigger for some reason. Howard added that the big news is actually Beth’s impromptu “H” tattoo – on the inside of her wrist: “I was like, ‘Wow, maybe she really does love me.’”

For those who are listeners to the show, we have known that Howard was going to get inked with the letter “B” for Beth Ostrosky on his ring finger…but the real question was when was he really going to get inked? Howard has mentioned many times that he doesn’t want a ring since it’ll be uncomfortable for him to have something on his hand. Unlike the jokes we’ve heard in the past, we hope that the “B” on his finger will never stand for broke.

“Howard Stern’s sidekick is finally in rehab. Artie Lange, who’s long overindulged with drugs and drink, was scheduled to attend close pal Bob Saget’s Comedy Central roast on Sunday night, but never made it to LA. Instead, he checked himself into an intensive outpatient rehab program. A source said Lange “felt awful for not being there for Bob, but needed to make his health a priority.” Lange also canceled his stand-up shows this weekend, but plans to return to his regular gig on Stern’s Sirius radio show when it returns from hiatus. Lange’s rep, Lewis Kay, confirmed the news.”

So I guess the alleged news was finally confirmed.  All I can say is good for Artie to know enough to actually head to rehab.  Artie is the type of guy who will always put others first but at least for this one moment he did what he had to do…which is take care of Artie.  Not sure if Dana, had anything to do with this in terms of changing his life around but if so maybe a couple weeks/months down the line we will see the 2 reunite.
