Dominic Barbara, who has made a mint litigating other people’s messy divorces, got into his own marital spat earlier this week when his wife threw a plate of spaghetti at his head, police records show.
The divorce and defense lawyer, who helped make Long Island infamous by representing the likes of Joey Buttafuoco and Jessica Hahn, suffered a small gash on his forehead when the woman who is both his third and his fourth wife broke the plate on his head, according to police and court documents.
The couple ended a five-year marriage in 2007, and remarried each other that same year. Barbara, 63, would not comment on whether they are planning to divorce again now.
Leslie Barbara, 44, also a divorce lawyer, was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing after the incident Monday.
She spent the night in jail, and Dominic himself bailed her out Tuesday morning, both sides said.
But she was promptly rearrested when police said she violated a restraining order by going back to the couple’s Glen Cove home, court documents show.
The usually flamboyant Barbara said only, “I hope she gets the help she needs.”
In the courtroom, however, Barbara is known to pull outrageous stunts to win settlements for his clients.
“I am literally bigger than life,” he once told Newsday. “The reputation is that if you try a case with me I’m going to — kill you.”
Leslie Barbara’s lawyer, Randy Zelin, of Westbury, would not discuss the spaghetti-throwing incident except to say that he plans to fight the charges and that he is “confident that at the end of the day justice is going to be done.”
Zelin said a misunderstanding led to his client’s second arrest. He said a Glen Cove City Court judge gave Leslie Barbara permission to have her car picked up from the couple’s home. He said in his client’s exhaustion after a night in jail, she misunderstood and went to get the car herself. Police arrested her there.
Beth Ostrosky Completes Marathon, Howard Awaits at Finish Line

Howard Stern has miles of praise after Beth Ostrosky completes NY Marathon

Flushed and sweating – but still gorgeous – Beth Ostrosky spotted hubby Howard Stern at the finish line of the New York City Marathon on Sunday and pumped her fists into the air.
Tears of joy glistened in the shock jock’s eyes and a smile flashed across his face.

“She made it through!” Stern whooped as Ostrosky ran toward him.
“Oh, honey, you earned this,” he said when she collapsed in his arms. The normally lewd Stern, in full loving hubby mode, hugged and kissed the former model he married last month.

“Isn’t she beautiful?” he gushed as daughter Ashley, 15, also hugged her stepmom.
“This was the happiest day of my life,” Ostrosky said.
Stern woke up early Sunday to get his wife ready for the big race day, making bagels loaded with peanut butter and bananas.
“She ate a ton,” he beamed.
BETH’S MARATHON TIPS
At the start of the race on Staten Island, she met her running partner and the team of 20 she assembled to raise money for the North Shore Animal League – $295,000 in all. Stern, 54, said he’ll make it an even $300,000.
Ostrosky, 36, expected to complete the five-borough course in about five hours, but ended up finishing in an amazing 4 hours and 15 minutes or just under 9-3/4 minutes a mile.
Last week, the Daily News worked out with Ostrosky as she entered the final stretch of her six months of marathon training.
An encouraging e-mail from a friend, retired tennis great Monica Seles, helped calm her jitters Saturday night.
“She told me to use my nervousness to keep going,” Ostrosky said. “I just kept thinking about seeing Howard and Ashley on the finish line.”
Stern even went back to the finish line to get his exhausted bride’s medal – and then put it around her neck.
“I have got to get her home now,” he said.
“We’re going to celebrate with some sushi and some pasta,” she said. “A lot of sushi and pasta.”
Ostrosky was not the only A-lister running the marathon.
Actor Ryan Reynolds, who also completed the marathon for the first time, seconded Ostrosky’s gluttonous plans.
“I am going to allow three to four hours for my scary marathon face to go away and then I am going to eat my body weight in raw dough,” he told The Daily News as he collected his medal.
Reynolds was met by his mother, Tammy, on the finish line.
His new wife, actress Scarlett Johansson, had opted to cheer for her hubby anonymously from the crowds along the course.
Reynolds ran on Michael J. Fox’s “Team Fox” as a tribute to his dad, Jim, who, like Fox, is battling Parkinson’s disease. The actor raised more than $79,000.
“While I was racing I saw Michael J. Fox on Fifth Ave. and I gained 15 pounds of goose bumps,” he said. “I thought a lot about my father and about Michael while I was running. I’m running for those who can’t.”
Eric the Midget Finally Visits the Howard Stern Show

Eric the Midget finally came on to the Howard Stern Show this morning to pay visit once and for all face to face with the Kind of All Media.
In studio with Eric the Midget were, Kurt Angle, Diana DeGarmo, Natalie Maine, the Girls from the Bunny Ranch who Eric spent some time with and a representative from the RealDoll company who will be making a RealDoll replica of Eric the Midget!
Hearing the reply is a definite must as I missed the full segment. Hopefully there will also be good pics to come as well!
