“UPDATE 04-16-08 3:00PM
The Howard 100 News interviewed Teddy who says that he and Artie have finished their working relationship but left things amicably.” - sfn

Seems as if we all saw this coming or already thought it to be true. The fallout between Artie Lange and Teddy, his assistant has reached the point of no return. Last Thursday, a fight broke out on air with Artie verbally and physically trying to attack his assistant Teddy. It resulted in Artie Lange resigning from the Howard Stern Show and walking off.

The buzz around the Stern World is wether or not Artie Lange will return to the Howard Stern Show. No final word till Monday’s show…although if he doesn’t return, we all can see why.

I would not be surprised if this were true… they said some harsh things that are hard to forget or take back.

On the other hand, Artie has a big heart, and Teddy comes across as a nice guy. If anyone could work it out, they could.

    I hope they do,
    Sue

I think the writing was on the wall for this one, but in true Artie fashion, he’ll find a way to ease his guilt by throwing a bunch of money Teddy’s way.

Teddy is the biggest dick on earth. He totally abused his employee employer relationship with Artie, because Artie is a nice guy. The deserves to be fired and to be punched. I am glad finally fired his sorry ass but I hope Artie returns. He did nothing wrong. Everyone is making a huge deal about nothing. Come back and do the damn radio show.

Hey James, Your the biggest Dick on Earth!!! Not Teddy!!! If Artie had such a beef with Teddy he should have handled it in a professional manner!!! You don’t attack a guy!!! You handle it like a professional. Which Artie is clearly incapable of doing. Fire this fat fuck & get him off of the show. He is a danger to everyone in that work environment… Go fuck yourself jerkoff!!!
The show will be much better without him…

Artie was fired from MADTV for cocaine addiction and being a general nuisance.

He was nearly unable to complete his movie Beer League due to heroin addiction.

He threatened to leave the Stern show at K-Rock in the past, and has threatened to leave the Sirius show in the past as well.

He said in the past that he knew he would leave the show on bad terms, “I’m not a good person.”

Artie is funny, great on the show, but everyone is sick and tired of that fat drug addicted slob missing work and sleeping through bits.

I think the whole ‘fag PSA’ thing really pushed him over the edge too alongside the whole ‘Teddy’ fiasco. The first thing he said to Teddy was that he was a ‘faggot’ and should ‘die of AIDS’ Artie never would have said that with George Takei there and Artie’s bottled rage finally exploded like his stomach.

Artie should be fired. This is a guy that is hell bent for self destruction and there is nothing that anyone can do to stop it, which is fine for radio AS long as he isn’t attacking other people. I will tell you this, the first 15 minutes of Monday mornings show is going to be amazing.

If he’d fired Teddy months ago this wouldn’t have happened. Artie lets things get under his skin for too long and then finally explodes.

He needs to learn to not let things get THAT built up inside himself.

Teddy was the world’s worst personal assistant, though. Artie needs a REAL assistant, one who knows how to do the job, not a punk who can’t handle responsibility and doesn’t have common sense or any sense of what the job entails.

I think Artie will be back on the show after having bought Teddy off.

But Artie will leave the show soon. IT’s the same with the show as it was with Teddy: Artie is fed up with it and wants to end the relationship but can’t bring himself to do it.

So he’ll do it “unconsciously” like he did with Teddy – he’ll blow up and do something crazy or get hooked on heroin again.
