If you listened to the show, former Howard Stern Show Intern and missing school teacher’s body was found in the woods near her home. She went missing after getting a flat tire, her and her husband reportedly had a recent fight and were in talks about divorce. She was a school teacher for the disabled…and will be surely missed. Seems as if anyone who speaks on her behalf have nothing but good things to say about her.

The husband of Long Island teacher Leah Walsh was arrested and charged with the 29-year-old’s murder hours after her body was found in a wooded area 13 miles from her home, cops said.
William Walsh, the woman’s husband, had made a tearful plea for information about his wife’s death just before her body was found yesterday.
“I still don’t know what to do,” he told the Daily News. “I miss her more than anything. I need everybody’s help. Anybody that could have seen anything, just let us know.”
He was in police custody Wednesday night, and it wasn’t immediately known if he had a lawyer.
Police spokesman Sgt. Anthony Repalone said William Walsh was arrested after authorities confirmed that a body found 50 feet off the Long Island Expressway service road in North Hills earlier Wednesday was his wife’s.
Repalone offered no details of how or why Leah Walsh was killed, saying a press briefing would be held Thursday. The cause of the woman’s death was under investigation.
The body was believed to have been in the wooded area for more than 24 hours, Nassau County Police Lt. Kevin Smith said.
The body of the Glen Cove resident was found by maintenance workers at a golf course, police said.
Walsh’s abandoned car was found on a Long Island expressway early Monday and she was reported missing after failing to show up for work at the Glen Cove school where she taught special education.
Walsh’s car, with a flat front tire, was found by her father, a bus driver who happened to be on the highway. Her purse was found in a ditch nearby.
Walsh’s husband, William Walsh, is being held in police custody.
A text message had been sent Monday morning from Walsh’s phone to her husband, telling him to “have a great day,” he told WINS radio. “That’s the last I heard from her,” he said.
He spoke to reporters outside the couple’s home in Bethpage, before the discovery of the body. “I miss her more than anything,” he said.
He described his wife as an “easygoing person” who loved her students. “She wouldn’t just leave them,” he said. “Something had to have happened.”
Earlier Wednesday, rush-hour traffic was stopped for miles along an expressway in Bethpage as police handed out a missing persons flier with a photo of the teacher, as well as a picture of her 2005 Ford Focus.
The couple have been married for three years; they have no children, police said.
