Last day for air time on 92.3 is here. After today you will no longer hear Howard on K-Rock…it’s amazing that this day is finally here, seems like for many years we’ve been hearing about this day.
Starting next week, David Lee Roth will be heard in the mornings but who knows how long he will last. I truly hope he fails quick, from the promos they are running he seems like he is going to get real annoying fast. It’s not like I hate the guy, hell Van Halen was David Lee, but in the promos the way he speaks just seems dragged out. “The Indiana slammer giving you the NYC reach around every morninnnnnng,” to me it sounds like he keeps trying to make his voice sound deep like James Earl Jones. Whatever happens to Lee and 92.3 doesn’t matter anymore.
Days are drawing closer to Howar being heard on Sirius, the team has walked into their new offices and are getting used to all the new equipment. Hell the bikini rack was installed a few days ago.
I’m sure the whole Stern team/staff is just as excited as all of the listeners waiting for the day to come when you hear the launch of the Stern Show with Sirius.
