Howard Streamed on Your Computer
by EOR on Jun.20, 2006, under The Howard Stern Show
Sick of having to walk out from your car only to miss the rest of the show? Drive slow into your work parking lot hoping to catch those precious few minutes? Well the time has come, they are testing the streaming of the show on your comp. All you need is a broadbound connection and your sirius user name and password.
Straight from HowardStern.com
Howard began this morning by saying how excited he was that the show is now being streamed on both this site and sirius.com. After Howard mentioned he was at a couple places over the weekend where he only had access to his computer and therefore listened to SIRIUS through it, Robin wondered how people go about getting their passwords and user identifications. Howard responded that, while all he had to do was call HowardStern.com’s Webmaster, Doug Hurwitt, to get what he needed, he said other people can get theirs by calling SIRIUS or visiting the company’s website.
I am currently testing this out right now. Works great. Beats having to move your receiver from the car into your home. I hope this testing keeps working out and they include it permanently.
